Why Cyber Weekend is a Blackout Period for DermPRO

Black Friday and Cyber Monday bookend an extraordinary weekend for ecommerce. Due to the very specific and unique requirements of promoting and supporting the activity that occurs on our stores during these days, the four-day period is a blackout period for our regular monthly promos. This means that if your plan includes regular monthly promos, those promos will not be active during these 4 days.

Cyber Monday is, year after year, the top revenue day across all DermPRO online stores, and Black Friday is the second highest revenue day… Of the entire year. DermPRO takes this period very seriously, and is committed to supporting the significant increase in store traffic and shopper volume which require additional store resources, as well as dedicated DermPRO staff working throughout the weekend to provide full support coverage.

To serve your needs during this period, DermPRO has crafted Cyber Weekend Packages that include special features exclusive to this period, including a series of Cyber Weekend banners leading up to weekend, Holiday Gift Card designs, and a Holiday Gift Guide that is enabled on your store. One of these Cyber Weekend Packages is required if you would like DermPRO-configured specials on your store during any of the days from November 27 through 30, 2026.

Changes, edits, and approvals

  • Revisions are free up until your submission deadline.
  • After your deadline, changes may incur additional fees depending on how extensive they are and how close to launch we receive them.
  • Once you approve an email or a special, it is locked.
  • We send you a write-up of your specials to check.

If we do not receive your approval or changes by the date on that email, we will configure exactly what is in the write-up — so you do not miss the event.

How It Works

  1. Purchase your Holiday Package.

    Purchase a Cyber Weekend Package or 12 Days of Christmas Campaign by the deadlines shown above.

    If you purchased a Holiday Gift Card, don’t forget to use it to get extra spending power.

  2. Watch for important communications.

    After purchasing your package, you’ll receive important emails from our team outlining the schedule, deadlines, and next steps.

  3. Submit your Specials Request Form.

    Complete the form using the link provided in our email. Forms are due October 19 for Cyber Weekend and November 6 for 12 Days of Christmas.

  4. Review and approve your specials.

    You’ll receive a series of emails from our team with any questions and your specials write-up for review and approval. Please respond promptly to keep everything on schedule.

  5. Holiday features go live.

    Cyber Weekend banners and Holiday Gift Cards will begin going live the week of November 2, and your promotional emails will be scheduled for sending.
